We had the pleasure of designing the annual holiday party for CEC, held at the stunning Casa Real in Pleasanton, CA. The theme for the night was old Hollywood, inspired by classic movie cinema and the elegance of black and white. It was truly an event to remember.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by servers offering delicious hors d'oeuvres in a dimly lit candlelight setting, creating the tone for the rest of the evening. The guests then made their way into the Amber Room for cocktail hour, where they were treated to black and white movies playing overhead.
As the guests eagerly approached the grand ballroom, they were greeted by the sight of a magnificent customized marquee illuminated in a dazzling display of lights. The sign proudly announced the evening's main event - a live theatre show! Adorned with elegant velvet drapes and a black carpet lined with white velvet ropes, the entrance exuded an air of sophistication and glamour.
The ballroom’s high ceiling was draped with a stunning white blossom and adorned with five intricate black chandeliers. Each guest table was decorated with beautiful centerpieces which featured an array of white flowers, and accented with nods to the world of cinema - reels, clapboards, and even miniature Oscars. Adding to the old Hollywood charm, each table also had a framed black and white picture of a scene from a classic movie.
With the music playing and the dance floor waiting, the guests knew they were in for a night they would never forget. As they swayed and twirled under the sparkling chandeliers, it truly felt like they had stepped back in time to the golden age of cinema.
